Rose season

Color and Fragrant

When you look at my bouquets, you can almost always find roses - the queen of flowers. I love the range of colors you can find – especially with the Austin rose. Now my favorite is the Claire Austin. It bears pleasingly cupped, pale lemon buds which gradually open to large, creamy white flowers, the outer petals perfectly arranged in concentric circles. I love the antique style you get when you chose Austin roses for your bouquet. Some of the roses are strongly scented, which fills the room with a unique scent.

Expert Tip

Cut the stems of your rose as soon as you can. If you are not sure, your Roses are absolutely fresh, simply place each stem into boiling water for about 30 seconds to help clean any air pockets. Air pockets stop the water from reaching the Rose head, causing them to droop. After put them in lukewarm water. Place your bouquet at a cool place and feed them with sugar or flower food.
