CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS FOR COURSES & COURSE FEES
1 CANCELLATION BY YOU
1.1 You may cancel your place on a course up to two weeks before the course start date. Under these circumstances, you will be entitled to a full refund of course fees, less the required deposit fee for the course purchased. For the one-day course, the deposit is 100,00 Euros for the two day course 200,00 Euros and the three-day course 500,00 Euros.
1.2 If you wish to cancel within two weeks of the course start date you will not be entitled to a refund. However, at our discretion and subject to availability, you may be able to use the course fee as a credit towards a different future course. You have the opportunity to reschedule a new course within a period of half a year after that your claim will dissolve. If you cancel within a week you are neither entitled to a refund nor to reschedule at our discretion.
1.3 If you have booked a course within two weeks of its start date, conditions 1.2 will apply.
1.4 Refunds of cash bookings can only be made by bank transfer.
1.5 We can not offer refunds for travel or accommodation costs that you may have incurred as a result of booking a BFS course.
1.6 If you are refused entry to Germany, you will not be eligible for a refund of course fees.
1.7 If you require a visa for entry to Germany and your visa is delayed, you will also not be eligible for a refund of course fees. At our discretion, however, we will consider transferring you to another course at a later date.
1.8 Cancellation requests must be made in writing to info@berlinflowerschool.com
Please note that refunds can take up to three weeks to process.
2 CANCELLATIONS BY US
2.1 Please note that courses have minimum attendance levels of four people and may be canceled if too few bookings are received. We reserve the right to amend or cancel courses.
2.2 If we cancel a course we shall endeavor to give you at least one week’s notice. You will have the option of transferring to another course or having a full refund of the fees, which we will return to you within three weeks.
2.3 We will not be liable for any losses (including, but not limited to, travel and accommodation costs) arising as a consequence of any modification or cancellation of courses or timetabling constraints as set out above, beyond the cost of the course fee.
3 NON-ATTENDANCE
3.1 If you are unable to attend a class or classes due to illness, or for personal or professional reasons, you will not be entitled to a refund, extra tuition or to automatically transfer to another course. However, we will consider such action that we believe to be fair and reasonable.
3.2 Please note that if alternative options are offered, there may be an additional charge.
Artistic Design and Personal Taste
Floral arrangements and decorative designs are creative and handcrafted works. Each design is created in accordance with the client's agreed brief, the approved concept, and the seasonal availability of flowers and materials.
Personal taste or subjective aesthetic preferences do not constitute a defect or deficiency in the services provided. Dissatisfaction based solely on personal preference does not entitle the client to a replacement, refund, price reduction, or any other claim, provided that the agreed services have been delivered in accordance with the contract.
In particular, no defect shall be deemed to exist where the floral design reflects the agreed style, colour palette, and overall concept, even if the client subsequently no longer finds the result to their personal taste.
