Hippie spirit meets contemporary floral design.

For this Floral Stylist Course editorial, we explored a bold and eclectic world of colour, drawing inspiration from the free-spirited energy of the 1970s and reinterpreting it through a modern lens. Vibrant neon accents, unexpected colour contrasts, and expressive floral compositions created a visual story that felt joyful, artistic, and unapologetically individual.

One of the most important things I teach at Berlin Flower School is that floral styling goes far beyond arranging flowers. It is about understanding colour, fashion, mood, storytelling, and how all creative elements work together to create a powerful visual impact.

This shoot challenged students to think fearlessly about colour and to use flowers as a true design medium. The result was a contemporary interpretation of the hippie aesthetic—playful, glamorous, eclectic, and full of personality.
