Private Floristry Tuition at Berlin Flower School

Every florist has a different vision, a different ambition, and a unique creative journey. Sometimes a group course is the perfect learning environment. At other times, a personalised, one-to-one experience is exactly what is needed.

My Private Floristry Course is designed for those who would like to focus on a very specific area of floral design while benefiting from individual mentoring and a course tailored entirely to their goals.

Students book private tuition for many different reasons. Some wish to refine their wedding floristry skills, while others would like to master large-scale event installations, funeral floristry, editorial styling, branding, or the use of silk flowers. Many business owners also book private coaching to develop their brand, strengthen their creative direction, or gain practical advice on pricing, marketing, and building a successful floral business.

Before every private course, I begin with a detailed consultation to understand exactly what the student would like to achieve. Together we discuss learning objectives, suitable colour palettes, floral ingredients, mechanics, and the overall direction of the training. Based on these conversations, I create a personalised programme and schedule that is tailored specifically to the student's needs. Private tuition can be booked for a single day or over several days, depending on the desired level of learning.

One of my recent private courses explored the fascinating world of the Dutch Masters. Together we studied the dramatic use of colour, light, texture, and movement that characterises these iconic paintings before translating these principles into contemporary floral designs. The course also included the creation of a modern floral installation, combining artistic expression with professional construction techniques and contemporary floral mechanics.

Every private course is different because every student is different. My goal is not simply to teach techniques but to help each florist develop confidence, creative understanding, and a distinctive design language that they can carry into their own work.

At the end of the course, each participant receives a Certificate of Participation recognising their personalised training at Berlin Flower School.

Whether you are looking to master a particular floral technique, prepare for a new career, strengthen your business, or explore a completely new creative direction, private tuition offers the opportunity to learn at your own pace with individual guidance and support.

If you have a specific goal in mind, I would be delighted to create a bespoke programme designed just for you. LOVE JULIA
