

Floral crown workshop at Ikea Event
At the "Machmidsommar Party" from Ikea in private garden in Berlin, the BFS was asked to do a flower crown workshop. Together with the event agency Julia Gauld Flowers all the floral design were made by Julia Gauld and students of the BFS. The floral crown workshop was the highlight of the day. The weather was wonderful sunny so that 20 people could take part in the floral workshop under a clear sky.


Bridal Bouquet Course
Bridal bouquets are one of the most exciting floral designs a florist can make. On the other hand there is a lot of pressure to get it right and to make the design outstanding. Apart from using high quality flowers and learning different binding techniques there are also aspects like how to present your final work to the bride and what ribbons can be used for a flawless finish. In this two days course all these aspects are covered and also how to make buttonholes and corsage


Wedding course bohemian wedding
Most weddings are still in pastel colors, but a new trend goes towards bold and contrasting colors, dark burgundy colors with cream or coral with vintage pink and light fuchsia. To give you an idea what that looks like enjoy this amazing bohemian floral concept.


Wedding course romantic wedding
Pink and Blue or Peach and Blue is a beautiful color combination for weddings. Especially in castles or old countryside house with high ceilings and white walls this theme s a true eye-catcher. Also, the round shape of the wreath symbolizes eternity and it repeats the shape of the table which gives is a very harmonic look and feel.


Wedding course Vintage wedding
Most couples look choose a very specific wedding theme for their special day. Flowers play a big part in under lining and translating this specific theme through shape and colour. Together with decorative items, vases etc flowers can create modern, romantic, rustic or minimalist looks. This wonderful vintage theme is beautiful for barns or countryside garden weddings. We choose specifically meadow flowers to translate a simple and light romantic theme.


Wedding course Royal White Wedding
We ad BFS look always at new floral and bridal trends. We were very impressed with the recent royal wedding in Windsor Castle and tried to create a similar look and feel. We worked with white peonies, English garden roses, Astilbe, Jasmin, Ivy, Chokeberry and Forsythia and created a wonderful flower wall as a backdrop.


Wedding course Frida Kahlo Wedding
In our one week wedding course, we do five different wedding styles and one of them is very colourful. This courses highlight was the Frida Kahlo Wedding theme. We worked with peonies and delphiniums to create a feast for the eyes. Afterward we had all Mexican dinner in the fantastic setting.
